The celebrity tinder app was born with the thought of incorporating the concept of trivia and the idea of online dating via the infamous Tinder app. This project was designed and developed at my time in the Emerging Media Masters program at the University of Georgia.
With a vast interest in the film industry, mostly focusing on how a shot or scene is composed with lighting, I thought it would be fun to create a tinder-like native application that focused on the celebrities we revere. The goal of this celebrity tinder app is not to allow celebrities to date each other, but rather serves as a fun execution of trivia that allows the average person to learn fun facts about celebrities they may not know. I was able to pull facts from The Trend Spotter and incorporated the swipe left and right features of Tinder in my design.
